Prohibition can be a Good Idea!
Before prohibition of alcohol sales began in the United States, there was various pro and anti campaigns. This poster was from just before it all started. It comes from 1919.
I suppose it really is true that a picture is worth a thousand words!
My ex-wife's grandmother was actually kicked out of the Women's Christian Temperance Union (yes, they still exist) for being too extreme. I can only guess what she had planned for any drinkers she ran across.

You would have to be drunk to want to snog any of them!
