They will be at 82 Leather Lane, EC1N 7TR - their Facebook page says so.
The London half of the Euston Tap (who runs Bloomsbury Lanes) are opening another beer bar called Father's Study and that's going to be on Bloomsbury Sq, Holborn. So that's too new craft beer bars in close vicinity.
I haven't a clue what this is about. Anyone care to explain the excitment caused by this advert? And what does an awesome beer taste like? I understand hoppy, malty, or citrus, but awesome is a new tasting note to me.
Sadly, it seems Tandleman is so bored that he feels compelled to report on advertisments rather than wait for the real thing. Must be a London thing...
strangly enough Ed and Stringers they will have 16 handpumps but whether your beer is good enough to be on them we will have to wait and see.also 22 keg fonts with believe it or not a house beer brewed by Mikkeller or so i have been told.the manager is the ex rep from Brewdog(tom) and the opening date should be 14 june.also if you didnt know already its the guy who owns the cask and kitchen pub who is taking over the Clockhouse in leather lane. cheers anonymous john

Tyson - I thought you of all people would have spotted the real reason!
ReplyDeleteTanders - the "real reason" seems to have escaped me, too. I think you're being too gnomic for us unsophisticated northern types.
ReplyDeleteWell I thought it might be the "craft" part of it?
ReplyDeleteGlyn - I had a beer in the Rake recently which wasn't 100% perfect (it was somewhere around 95% perfect). Not good enough from an award-winning bar ;)
ReplyDelete"Kinda set their stall out clearly though." In that case, I'd better get my eyes checked.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that the word CRAFT is in much larger letters than the word beer ?
