Having just read Mudgie's
latest blog post, it reminded me of a photo I took from Chester's ancient walls (hence the dodgy quality). You can still read it though.
I don't suppose everyone will agree with all of the sentiments expressed, but one or two of the diktats may find some support, where some no doubt won't.
Still, in these days pubs have to find a niche and I assume that it works for them.
You can click on it to make it bigger and a bit more readable.
you can always rip a few pics off me or Mudge, if you're crap at taking photo's, like.

Isn’t that the place that does World War One as a theme, left me cold when I went there.
ReplyDeleteCheers Cookie. I'm much obliged.
ReplyDeleteAdrian. I don't know. I just spotted it from the walls above the next morning, when out for a walk.
As Cookie says, been there, done that.
ReplyDeleteThe sign looks as though it's seen better days on your photo, too.
Apologies Mudgie. I took that two weeks ago. Looks like it has gone downhill since your pristine snap.
ReplyDeleteI must learn all your posts by heart.

ReplyDeleteThey spend a few bob on meals and such. The mark up on chicken nuggets is astonishing.
All it takes is a few colouring books and free crayons.
There's sod all money in appealing to old soaks nursing half a bitter all afternoon.
The families spend dosh.
I've seen that sign from the walls too, but I've not been in the place.
