London Stock Exchange listed, but South African owned, SAB Miller has, with the agreed purchase of Grolsch of the Netherlands, just become the world's largest brewer, knocking InBev into second place and Heineken (assuming the S&N deal completes) into third. This leaves the American giant Anheuser- Busch in fourth place.
You might not have known that. None of them brew any truly exciting beers. Bet you knew that though!

And where do Carlsberg fit into the list?
Also if they brew the best beer in the world why are there better beers in Denmark?
