I read somewhere over the holiday period - Twitter probably - that cask Jaipur has been "flabby" recently and bottles were much better. Last night in the Regal Moon in Rochdale, it was superb. Tremendous in fact. For anyone tempted to buy bottles rather than cask, this information is brought to you as a public service.

Beer that's Out of this World

It seems that Sapporo brewery of Japan is developing a beer using third generation barley grains grown at the International Space Station. It is designed for a future where humans will spend extended time in space says the brewery proudly.

Are you inspired by this or, like me, do you just think it a load of old bollocks?
