The end comes suddenly, but like a resinous, hoppy beer, it finishes long. I'll be back there today and maybe after I've had a rest I can get back to some blogging. The two photos show the NWAF site about ten minutes after the last customer left.Within that time it was transformed from the biggest bar in the UK to a mass of casks, pipes, boxes and sundry bits and pieces of beery kit. After today it will all be gone to its various homes.
And so, thankfully, will I.
